In 1993, Ministry of Human Resource Development, New Delhi upgraded the College to "College of Teacher Education" Under the Centrally Sponsored Scheme for qualitative improvement of Teacher Education as envisaged in the National Policy on Education,1986. The College started functioning as CTE during the session 1994-95. CTE Hatundi has been entrusted with conducting in-service teachers training programme for five districts namely Ajmer, Bhilwara, Nagaur, Pali and Tonk. Around 25-30 training programs are conducted every year. The college faculty has completed 57 research projects suggested by the Programme Advisory Committee (P.A.C) and approved by the Research Development Committee (R.D.C) . The Extension Department has brought out Self learning material in English, Mathematics and Educational Social Work.
