Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth Kul Hari Bhau Upadayaya Women Teachers College , Hatundi (Ajmer) was established in the year 1974 by the visionary Late Pt. Janardan Rai Nagar.
Pt. Nagar founded the parent organization Rajasthan Vidhyapeeth in the year 1937 inspired by Pt. Madan Mohan Malviya (Founder B.H.U., Varanasi) and Mahatma Gandhi ji. The College has a long and proud record of academic achievements, innovations and rich traditions. It has disseminated intellectual stimulus and provided facilities for teaching, learning and research. The College has contributed immensely in educational research in the area of teacher education. It also provides support to the Faculty of Education of the M.D.S. University, Ajmer .
The Campus is located in an eco-friendly environment 14 km from Ajmer city providing a magnificent look of hills surrounding the campus. The campus was founded in 1927 by Late Sh. Hari Bhau Upadhyay , Well known freedom fighter, who later on became the first Chief Minister of Ajmer- Merwara state. The campus was nucleus of the freedom movement in Rajasthan under the leadership of Mahatma Gandhi. The campus is spared over 14 acres of land and is an infrastructural blend of traditional and modern beside the teacher training course it has also a demonstration school known as Kamla Nehru Secondary School.
